the life of freddy mercury and his famous band? what could be better than a musical about the band Queen!? hell if i know. i thought i liked Queen before i saw this but now i know that they are one of the best damn bands in the universe. beer, queen songs, the future of rock and roll... it was epic and can only be seen at the Dominion theatre in London. leave it to the brits to have a theatre that is dedicated to freddy, the only people whom have one up on them are the good folks in Switzerland, they have a huge statue of him cast in bronze. but wait the dominion theatre has one too and they have a play... sounds like, brits-1 / swiss-0. but in reality i was hesitant to see this play, due to the musical nature of it (there is only so many times you can burst into song), i am so happy i saw it. the original band members played the music for the play. it is just a shame i had to see a musical and not Queen live on stage. but at least the songs live on... freddy. thank you.
